I have played a lead role in planning, coordinating, managing and delivering marketing and communication strategies for a range of government and non-government organisations over the past 23 years, specialising in the higher education sector. I also had an earlier career as a journalist, mostly with The Age.
I have worked with 35 tertiary institutions in Australia, and conducted market research with more than 10,000 participants, in projects spanning every State and Territory.
I love evidence-based strategy, marketing campaigns with purpose and communications that really sing.
With a passion for design and a talent for driving engagement, I have found a space I love developing campaigns and materials for clients seeking impact.
I coordinate Twig projects, identifying milestones and coordinating plans so that we achieve them.
I also lead our approach to design, developing new approaches to growing client profiles across a broad range of digital platforms as well as traditional mediums.
I love to segment stories so they can engage viewers at cinema quality or on the smallest of screens. I have made films for clients across the construction, education and health sectors and can start from scratch, building a film out of a conversation, or add value through the editing process if you already have your own footage.
I also love the power of animation to turn dense content into information that is both accessible and enjoyable. I also enjoy the challenge of producing videos remotely, by combining edited Zoom interviews with other footage, when the budget won’t stretch to a location-based shoot.
My work has been broadcast on TV and has won awards, but as a young film maker, I’m more excited about the next project than the last – always trying to improve and create material that satisfies both clients and their audiences.
